Amy Quillo, M.D.

Dr. Amy Quillo, a native of Louisville, specializes in endocrine and breast cancer
surgery. She graduated from University of Louisville School of Medicine and stayed
in her hometown to complete her residency training in General Surgery at the University
of Louisville. She is certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
and is in the process of becoming a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
She then enriched her training by completing a fellowship in endocrine surgery at
the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she gained additional clinical experience
focused on thyroid disease, parathyroid disease, and adrenal tumors including minimally
invasive parathyroid surgery and laparoscopic adrenalectomy, as well as surgical
treatment of both benign and malignant thyroid disease. Her interests also include
breast cancer surgery including breast conservation options, as well as conventional
treatment for more locally advanced disease.
