This website is a resource to educate breast cancer patients and concerned persons
about the breast's anatomy along with
breast cancer treatment options. The
formation of About Breast Health was the result of the
contributing physicians' mutual recognition of the need for a cohesive multidisciplinary
team approach which umbrellas all the quickly advancing technologies and knowledge
base for breast cancer treatment.
The information on About Breast Health is intentionally kept as non-technical as
possible and somewhat general--for the sake of clarity. We believe it is specific
enough to be a valuable assistant to anyone making a preliminary evaluation of breast
